In depth diet book? Coach?

Obviously like many here, I have a basic understanding of diet. I'm curious if anyone knows of any more in-depth diet books or know any diet coaches that explain the why and science behind what they lay out for you. Just want to really take my knowledge up a few notches. I have looked online but there seem to be only "bro science" books.
 
Hmm, interesting.. may have to grab that book myself.

IronLion2 - have you read the book yourself? Just curious if it's actually worth the money.

Last few books I purchased I sat there thinking I was an idiot after for spending money on them. I should've known better though lol.

I will recommend this 100x if I can. I'm currently going through it now (has read through it numerous times) as I'm early in on a cut phase that I setup myself.

BYOBB is a great OVERALL BBing book.

If you are 100% interested in dieting, check out Chris Aceto's Championship Bodybuilding as well as Renaissance Diet 2.0.
Renaissance Diet is just a good overall understanding on nutrition book. Aceto's is more how to get lean in BBing terms.
Both great reads.

I may have to pick it up, myself. Scott Stevenson is one of the best out there. Always love hearing what the experts who have been around the block have to say.

OP, buy the book and listen to his words on YouTube, as well. He's been on many podcasts.
 
So this may not work for everyone but I have essentially unlimited monetary resources.... A few years ago I went to an actual nutritionist with all of my prep diets, stage shots, weekly check ins, and old telly pics I sent dames (essentially daily pictures) and daily journal entries as well as notes from every workout from every prep I've done with every coach. We examined them all over the course of 3 sessions on a work out by work out basis on how I felt how I looked etc and where I ended up. It was wicked. Anyways she explained to me why/how I ended up how I did every time and she actually is going to be ultimately in charge of my nutrition and hopefully working with my coach for my next prep. It is unbelievable how in depth she was able to explain how we got the visual effects we did w/ my physique, and actually recommended better food items and products for those purposes. I eat more balanced in off season and my metabolism is always roaring. She actually is able to go off biomarkers from a cgm I've been wearing for the last 4 months. to my surprise she was absolutely cool about my goals etc even though they weren't really healthy per say and she was absolutely fascinated about actually seeing the effects of Pharma on metabolism first hand. She says it "blows theo sky high Bebey".

there are many more but it all depends on what ur goals are and where ur at in life
