Increased Pro cards for men BB this year

This year each class winner at the USA will be eligible for a Pro. card. There will be cards given to the top 2 in each weight class at the Nationals.
I read this ealier this week and have to admit i got a little excited, it gives us more opportunity to earn that professional status.:headbang:

This rocks, i've got a friend who just got his last july at Nationals. maybe its time i get mine!!!!!

That is pretty sweet it does give alot more people a opportunity to be a pro bodybuilder.

I have mixed feeling about the new rule for nationals. Honestly if I'd place second I wouldn't feel like I deserve a pro card. Maybe its because I'm so used to the way things were but I'd feel stupid telling someone who asked me what show did I win to turn pro "oh I didn't win any show, I placed 2nd at nationals"

^Agreed...I mean i like that they are doing it because it might entice more competitors but it takes away from the "elite" feeling from it.

2nd place at a NATIONAL LEVEL contest is pretty impressive and prestigous to me..

I don't think it is top 2 overall.

I believe it is top 2 in each weight class
