Antbiotics are not my area of expertise (I'm a virus guy) but I can offer a few suggestions. Maybe Zephyr could chime in if he has some experience in this area?
If you don't want to read all of this, and have an injection site infection I would take Cipro (ciprofloxacin) at 500mg q12h (every 12 hours) for about 10 days. Take it with food or you will be sorry.
For acne, try doxycycline at 50-100mg bid (twice per day) until symptoms clear up.
A quick google search shows you have quite a good source of USA Vet grade antibiotics. The company I work for (a big Human pharma company) also own a vet drug company, and I can tell you the manufacuring process is every bit as good as our human grade stuff.
Please note that infections can be serious and complicated to treat. When in doubt go see your doctor or head to the ER if you need to. Also, these drugs have side effects, educate yourself before you use them. All antibiotics are not the same - some will work on one type of infection and not on another type.
Amoxicillin
AMOXIL is indicated in the treatment of infections due to susceptible (ONLY β-lactamase– negative) strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below:
Infections of the ear, nose, and throat – due to Streptococcus spp. (α- and β-hemolytic strains only), S. pneumoniae, Staphylococcus spp., or H. influenzae.
Infections of the genitourinary tract – due to E. coli, P. mirabilis, or E. faecalis.
Infections of the skin and skin structure – due to Streptococcus spp. (α- and β-hemolytic strains only), Staphylococcus spp., or E. coli.
Infections of the lower respiratory tract – due to Streptococcus spp. (α- and β-hemolytic strains only), S. pneumoniae, Staphylococcus spp., or H. influenzae.
Gonorrhea, acute uncomplicated (ano-genital and urethral infections) – due to N. gonorrhoeae (males and females).
H. pylori eradication to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence
WARNINGS
SERIOUS AND OCCASIONALLY FATAL HYPERSENSITIVITY (ANAPHYLACTIC) REACTIONS HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN PATIENTS ON PENICILLIN THERAPY.
DOSE
500-875mg q12h for at least 48-72 hours after symptoms resolve. Most therapy should past at least 10 days.
Note: The gonorrhea dose is different. PM me for that one one
Tetracycline
Tetracycline, a "broad-spectrum" antibiotic, is used to treat bacterial infections such as Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus fever, and tick fevers; upper respiratory infections; pneumonia; gonorrhea; amoebic infections; and urinary tract infections. It is also used to help treat severe acne and to treat trachoma (a chronic eye infection) and conjunctivitis (pinkeye). Tetracycline is often an alternative drug for people who are allergic to penicillin.
Tetracycline should not be used during the last half of pregnancy or in children under the age of 8. It may damage developing teeth and cause permanent discoloration.

Dose
For most infections, the usual daily dose is 1 to 2 grams divided into 2 or 4 equal doses, depending on severity.
Doxycycline
Doxycycline is used to treat bacterial infections, including pneumonia and other respiratory tract infections; lyme disease; acne; infections of skin, genital, and urinary systems; and anthrax (after inhalational exposure). It is also used to prevent malaria. Doxycycline is in a class of medications called tetracycline antibiotics. It works by preventing the growth and spread of bacteria.
WARNINGS
THE USE OF DRUGS OF THE TETRACYCLINE CLASS DURING TOOTH
DEVELOPMENT (LAST HALF OF PREGNANCY, INFANCY AND CHILDHOOD TO THE AGE OF 8 YEARS) MAY CAUSE PERMANENT DISCOLORATION OF THE TEETH (YELLOW-GRAY-BROWN).
DOSE
Adults: The usual dose of oral doxycycline is 200 mg on the first day of treatment (administered 100 mg every 12 hours) followed by a maintenance dose of 100 mg/day. The maintenance dose may be administered as a single dose or as 50 mg every 12 hours.
In the management of more severe infections (particularly chronic infections of the urinary tract), 100 mg every 12 hours is recommended.
Cephalexin
Keflex and Keftab are cephalosporin antibiotics. They are prescribed for bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, the middle ear, the bones, the skin, and the reproductive and urinary systems.
Warnings
If you are allergic to either penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics in any form, consult your doctor before taking Keflex. There is a possibility that you are allergic to both types of medication and if a reaction occurs, it could be extremely severe. If you take the drug and feel signs of a reaction, seek medical attention immediately.
Dose
Throat, Skin, and Urinary Tract Infections
The usual adult dosage is 500 milligrams taken every 12 hours. Cystitis (bladder infection) therapy should be continued for 7 to 14 days.
Other Infections
The usual recommended dosage is 250 milligrams taken every 6 hours. For more severe infections, larger doses may be needed, as determined by your doctor.
Ciprofloxacin
Cipro is used to treat infections of the lower respiratory tract, the abdomen, the skin, the bones and joints, and the urinary tract, including cystitis (bladder inflammation) in women. It is also prescribed for severe sinus or bronchial infections, infectious diarrhea, typhoid fever, inhalational anthrax, infections of the prostate gland, and some sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea. Additionally, some doctors prescribe Cipro for certain serious ear infections, tuberculosis, and some of the infections common in people with AIDS.
Dose
500-750mg q12h for 7-12 days
Eythromycin
Erythromycin is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections, such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, whooping cough, Legionnaire's disease, chlamydia, gonorrhea, skin infections, and others.
Dose
Usually 500 q6h or 666mg q8h for at least 7 days.
