Infection

While not being new to injections, I an kind of a rookie when it comes to having an infection from one. I actually got outta the game for the most part about 3 1/2 years ago. Taking some oral gear here and there to maintain some. Anyway I plan on getting back on the wagon this winter. So I took my first shot in 3 1/2 years, 1ml of sust 350. Everything went just like I remembered it. That was 4 days ago. Everyday since the shot, my shoulder has become increasingly more sore and swollen. Today I started running a fever and it looks like a fucking chicken breast on my shoulder. Not good. I've been taking some antibiotics the past day and a half, no help there so far. I guess I'm posting this in hopes that someone has had a little experience with it can help me out. The girlfriend Kees bugging me to go to the doc, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. It was my first fucking injection back. Anyway is there anyone out there that knows when it is time to go in? Basicly when is it life threatening?

And are there any home remedies to fight the infection and swelling?

I would go to the Doctor right away....the fever is what worries me most. Could be staph/cellulitus or worse....Not trying to scare you but you need to get to the docs office and get on antibiotics....your health is the most important thing...

Look up pictures of cellulitus....

In the doc office now. Woke this morning and I couldn't move my arm. Decided it was probably time to go. Thanks for the response fellas

Well, 12 hours after my doc visit and running 102 temp for most of the day. I'm starting to finally feel better, shoulder is still very sore and limited in mobility, but the fever broke and it seems I'm on the road to recovery. Thank you for the few well wishes that came my way.
