I am thinking that strongman training is going to be the way to go for size and strength. WSM is my favorite thing to watch and ive always been interrested in it but never knew where to start. for the past 10 years ive been training as a bodybuilder and now im thinking that if i could get to the level of strength that you guys have id have to grow like a weed. i doubt there is any guys who can lift the huge weights that strong men do with that kind of endurance who are small guys. ill post some stats, and hope for some advice on a starting point.
5'7"
201 lbs
9%bf
bench = 445 lbs x 1 rep usually work with 315 x 10, 365 x 8, 365 x 8, adding 5 lbs a week
squat = 315 x 20 for 3 sets, been adding 5 lbs a week
deadlift = 315 x 15 same as squats
just started training legs intensly for the past 4 months due to a knee injury, i started out squating 135 for 10 whish at the time was brutal for me, and it seemed that the more i squated the less pain i had in my knees.
i understand that i have a TON of work to do, but noone is more willing to pay my dues and do whatever is necessary. id really appreciate any advice.
