injecting curcumin

Has anyone had a problem injecting curcumin. First shot was sq in abdomin with insulin syringe 1/s cc. Got a large knot and substantial discomfort. Knot slowly subsiding. Next shot was 1/2 cc in quad with 1/2" 29g. No real knot but some soreness. Any suggestions?

I use 1" 25 gauge needle and inject like other gear never had a problem,alway shake because it has a tendency to gather in bottom of bottle.

Don't go SQ only IM

I can't get mine to go into an insulin needle so It's hard to believe you can even do that.
23g is the smallest I can go.

I injected IM into my shoulder and it still got really sore. Maybe inject into a bigger muscle??
