I have fucked upp my scatic nerv, so basicly I cant deadlift, I cant do crunches, I can squat(basicly the only leg exercise I can do right now. cause if it isnt the scatic then it is my knees, even leg curls hurts my scatic for some reason) but Im doing them very light and carefull.

But most lower back exercises and ab exercises is out of the question. What should I do to try and maintain my lower back, leg and ab strenght until this injury passes(which can take several months)?

Right now Im doing light high rep squats(like 100 pounds lighter weight then my normal workout weight and for 15 reps or so) as the only lower body exercise but that wont do jack shit for my lower back and abs I guess. My lower back gets some work from heavy bb rows but cause of the pain I cant bend forward much at all when doing them.

crunches hurts, leg raises hurts, side bends hurts, I cant do any movement that causes my spine to bend and I have to have an arch all the time when I workout no matter what exercise Im doing. :(

since u said u have to have an arch for every exercise
then i would try seated good mornings, these will strengthen ure erectors greatly, i do these as opposed to standing ones, i like the way these hit and i cant cheat on them
with good mornings u need that arch, or U WILL hurt ureself, lol
so these may work well for you
frk

It really depends on why it is fucked up and that will determine what you should do for it...

Get qn MRI or CAT Scan done. Take the results to a good chiropractor and have them looked over. You could probably do some reverse hypers to stretch the lower back and get some blood into the injured area. The reverse hypers don't compress the spine so they make for an excellent rehab exercise.
