Insulin?

I've got type 2 diabetes sugar, i take 1000mg metformin daily. I've researched and just can't find the answer. My question is

I've heard you can take hgh low dose and it can help , i was wondering if i could still take insulin safely?

Help with what? I don’t really understand your question. Anything can be done safely as long as you are properly monitoring your blood glucose.
