I've been reading up lately that you should follow the 10g carb per iu of slin followed by 5carb per iu 1-1.5hrs later. This is for humalog and i'll only be using PWO. I don't wanna take in to many carbs and get fat from it, but is it ok to have a carb drink during my workout and finish it say 30min before my workout is over and then take my slin shot, or would that effect things?
 
I do about 7 grams per IU of sugar, and about 2 or so of fruit right after. Then I just eat normally after that (which is usually a couple of grams per IU a few hours later). YMMV and don't fuck around with slin unless you know what you are doing.

I do the same thing - PWO only. I am up to 20 iu and that is where I keep it. Drink a shake with 2/3 of a cup of SUGAR in it and then eat a couple of pieces of fruit about ten minutes later (in the car on the ride back).

I feel as tired as I did when I didn't use slin.
 
I only plan on using 10iu max PWO for my first cycle. With 100grams of dextrose and 80g whey PWO and then 1-1.5hrs later 50carbs from something like pasta and 50-60g protien from a fat free source like chicken. I'll avoid fats for 3hrs after my shot right? How does all that sound? Thanks

I like to take 5iu pre WO and 10 post WO. This way I get that satisfing pump. I take amino acids with oatmeal and a pepsi pre WO. Post WO I get a shake with a carb drink. 30 min later its chicken and water. I sip the carb drink while i train.
 
All great advice... just one thing I'd like to add... get a glucometer... test your blood sugar levels about 60 min after your pwo meal (pro/sugar)... if it's close to 80mg/dl, then make sure you get a good helping of carbs with that second meal... never let your blood sugar levels dip below 80!... and then just to be safe, you could also check your blood sugar levels 60 min after the second meal to make certain you're in the clear.

With Slin, it's always to better to be safe than dead!

If I use something its typicaly in conjunction with 3 scoops of Ultra Fuel and 60 grams whey with all the other goodies (bcaa's, glutamine, ect)......thats directly post training (8ius)....then Ill shower, shave, and do whatever else I normaly do and hit a meal which is the same thing every time....10oz salmon, 2 cups rice, 2 cups broccoli. Im pretty much an idiot for never making sure I measured the time between my post training shake and my meal but I never really had a problem. Great fullness and pumps for sure.
 
If using humalog intramuscular there is no way it will be in your system 3hrs later and on right? Its ok to eat fats then?

I would stick with the above IMO. My respect goes out to you Fullybuilt for doing your homework before your first cycle of slin.
 
Thanks bro. Its just one of those things you can fu%k up on. Sure you can take too much test of Gh in your first cycle and you'll be fine, but with shit like slin or dnp you just can afford to fu@k up. I'd rather start on the lower side and be safe than go into a hypo coma. I can't believe some guys try like 15-20iu's on there first shot.
