Insurance for exercise business...

After reading responses to another thread I thought I would post this up and potentially give someone here in our community the business if they can do it. I am looking to get insurance as a personal trainer, it would be at a gym that I presently train at and also it would include group exercise sessions to be conducted at outside locations, ie; parks. Would anyone know if it is possible to attain insurance without current training certifications (mine exp. a good 8 months ago) as getting recertified is gonna push my expenses way up, plus the hassle of it all. I have been training clients on and off for about 18 yrs. Will start asking my old friends also but thought I would start here, I live in NJ very close to NYC. Thank you, replies very welcome and pm me if needed, peace...

most of the insurance companies will insure you if youre not certified, it just costs more.

i used trainerinsurance.com or something, at the reccomendation of my old boss, and they had an option for bot certified and an uncertified.

you might be better off getting a cheap certification liek IFA (99 bucks) and then just getting your insurance, might save you a few bones.
