Intermittent Fasting

Seems like it works well for most of you.. I don't think I could handle it mentally.
I'm a dick if I don't get food every 3 hours I couldn't imagine going 16 or even training during the fast.. I personally can't train early am I need at least two meals in me.

I used to think and say the same thing. Its all B.S.
 
I fast for a 24 hour period twice weekly. Workouts have not suffered at all. Bodyfat is melting off and it spares lean muscle. Been doing this for the last few months. Once you get used to it it is the easiest way to recomp the body I've ever done.
 
I love the if diet. I can get shredded in 10 days, And still eat fairly dirty diet. Bcaas are of course a must, while during fast. And it helps to have anabolics flowing. I always keep gatorade close in case i get dizzy or weak. Really simple way to cut in my opinion. Nvr tried bulking??

Just water. About 8 six ounce cupfuls over the 12.5 hours I'm at work. I work the night shift so when I get home in the morning I just go to sleep. When I get up it's time to eat again. It goes quickly and I eat such a large amount before going to work and it's high fat so I stay satisfied well past the middle of my shift.
 
Anyone who thinks NOT eating is what bodybuilding is all about just doesn't get it, IMO.

Sure these gimmicks can work but it's not ideal. We store carbs in our muscles, we obviously store bodyfat, but we have no storage of protein...going any extended period of time without protein is sacrificing lean tissue.
 
Funny in just read an article on the shitter that Hugh Jackman does the exact diet but says it's hard to eat all that food in the 4 hour be window.

You're not supposed to drink anything if it has calories in it during the fast. Even BCAAs are debatable since they are insulinogenic even though they are without calories.
