Intermittent fasting

Well after seeing the Aragon article I was watching a random Joe Rogan podcast with a researcher who basically said 3 meals plus snacks is very unhealthy. I know that it's been mentioned on threads about all the guys dying it's probably not as much the gear use as the constant stress of massive eating and walking around at such a high BMI, as we don't see 200 lb juices dropping dead.

So seems like conflicting information

If has no benefits according to studies, but massive frequent feeding is unhealthy. Confusing
 
For those interested in autophagy and how to use it to ones benefit. fasting seems a likely choice.
 
For me personally I eat low carb which lowers blood pressure via water retention for me. Insulin is a direct driver of sodium levels via reuptake in the kidneys (the system diuretics target like hctz for first line BP Meds). What intermittent fasting does is not just lower insulin spikes (call it amplitude) but cluster them with a long period of zero major spikes. Very synergistic for my use.

I don't IF all the time as it's 2nd order to diet but it does help a lot. Also helps just lower calories in general as it's easy to eat less over a concentrated period as noted by others. Obviously some of this is particular to me and my physiology but notably useful and effective in my case.
 
I eat when hungry period. That involves 4 meals a day, plus snack. I know there is lots of methods out there and people will try anything. I eat like I am in a marathon, slow and methodical. At the end of day, do what is best for you and your overall health. No sense in reinventing the wheel if it is working for you.
