internal medicine

whats up guys, just wondering if anyone can help me out, in regards to finding an internal medicine dr in suffolk county long island, new york. my insurance covers it, but when i call and ask them for a refferal they do not understand what type of dr im looking for, ive tried their website as well, with no luck
