Interview with Dr. Todd Lee

That's not the same person.
That's Dr. Todd Harshbarger,
MD from the image you shared

According to Todd Lee's bio, he attended a Caribbean med school- Ross University School of Medicine, and later on at Wayne State. I looked through all of the "Todd Lee _____," all with no avail that shows the med schools he proclaims he attended. Could he of been an M.D at some point? Sure. Maybe he's dropped his licensure to practice? Although, it's seemingly apparent he's not licensed to practice medicine as of today.

For the record, I have no opinion on his stance with any of his content. I could careless to watch lengthy youtube videos.

Type any licensed P.A or physician in. See what comes up. Unless I'm spelling Todd Lee's name entirety-incorrectly, I'm not seeing his credentials?

His name on his diploma from Ross University is "Todd H. Lee" and curiously doesn't come up in your referenced database or the AMA DoctorFinder site.

*I just saw your new reply and have some of the same thoughts. It's certainly plausible he earned his MD and never actually went into practice.....perhaps simply choosing to add that credential to his name as a boost for his coaching/consulting/social media clout and credibility. And I'm not trying to diminish the achievement of an MD, either, but there's certainly a question of him actually being currently licensed to practice medicine.

Type in his name again and click on that name and scroll down to education. Not the same med school.

So did he let it lapse and someone else writes scripts?

Where is this all leading?

If you like listening to people talk about gear & bodybuilding, sure Todd Lee is fine, as are many others.

For entertainment, not education. Please don't make any serious decisions about your gear use based on a youtube video.

If he's a licensed physician. All good. If he's not a licensed physician offering medical advice without a disclaimer. Not a good idea.

Why? How does someone talking on a YouTube video, with more than a reasonable background, devalue the information?

90% of the experts are on YouTube and social media.

Can you be specific about where you get information from?

Can you be specific about anything that concerns you with Todd’s content?

Do you believe he’s not considered this legally? In the years he’s been doing this, nobody has reported it?

You are 100% right.

That said, as I've watched the transition from boards/forums to newer sources the main issue with youtube is that anyone can make a video and say anything largely unchecked. If a viewer is new, isn't an educated consumer or very skeptical (checking comments and other sources) they will take it as gospel. I've seen flat out wrong shit come from video sources. Someone posts flat out wrong stuff here - someone is likely to catch and flag it before the original poster gets mislead. That's the one thing, other than social, I really like about forums. Reddit is closer but seems to have too fast a pace and fewer knowledgeable people compared to forums so stuff gets missed.

Just my thoughts on different mediums but as you say, youtube is infinitely easier to monetize so many experts, or at least those seeking to participate financially in the field, are there and will be there.

I can't explain why someone hasn't recognized this in the past? There's other methods to see if a physician holds a licensure in the State(s) they can practice medicine in. The link i shared is up to date on licensed P.A's and Physicians. As we can see, he's not showing up. Here again, possibly I'm missing his name in entirety, and its user error?

Maybe @OldManLogan if he feels like asking Todd if he's currently licensed to practice medicine. If he is or isn't doesn't change his knowledge base or the information he shares. Is it necessary to disclose whether he is or not? That's based on personal opinion.

People confuse being dogmatic with being factual. John Jewett, by that definition is also “dogmatic”, but because his delivery is different, he isn’t called out. John is brilliant imo, and this is not a callout on him. Just pointing out how delivery, at times, is prized more than the value of the information.

I know it doesnt matter but I believe I looked at it in the past.

He graduated, and then did 1 year of residency in family medicine i.e. he did not complete residency. You can still get a limited license to practice in some states if yo want too if you complete 1 year of residency.

i feel like a complete creeper doing this.

But here is his residency license for 1 year . 2009 - 2010. He finished medical school 2009..

Obviously there are no residencies that last 1 year. So I am guessing he dropped out or quit or got dismissed

This is very interesting...I can't take this guy seriously.

I'm not watching this, but this is exactly the content I "hate" in bodybuilding social media today.

Everything is about drugs and cycles, while these same people bemoan young people on TikTok pounding Tren.
Training? Diet? Recovery? Consistency? bah.

You want YouTube views? Do a "trenbolone profile" and discuss "the stacks of pros". FFS.
