when cutting i try and do "fasted" cardio, i get 10g BCAAs immediatly upon waking. Otherwise i get 50-70g karboload intra work out and 50g protein shake immediatly done working out then 30 mins cardio.
I don't personally but if your goal is to actually burn fat I would skip the intra carbs and just do bcaa/EAA's into. If your goal is just cardio vascular health then I don't see an issue doing 20 mins or so post workout after an intra drink.
But as already stated if fat burning and muscle building is your top goal then fasted cardio away from your workout and intra workout carbs.

I did both morning fasted and post-lifting (having drank Intra) during my last prep and noticed NO difference in rate of bodyfat loss. Weekly check-in photos were proof enough for me.
I've always wondered about this also...I dont mind working out while having something in my stomach but I dont know about cardio. I kind of like to have an empty stomach when I do cardio, especialy if its intense.
For the life of me I can't figure why people keep doing "fasted" cardio and then sabotaging it. If you're gonna do it fasted, just do it fasted. Drink some coffee and get it done. If you're not natural and eating enough throughout the day you won't shrink.

Carbs or not, you're still creating a calorie deficit so it doesn't make a difference. Actually they will probably help you to perform better during the cardio and increase the amount of calories burned.
