It’s been a while since I’ve been engaged on the boards. So 7 years ago, I had a great trainer, worked our 3 days a week, and after a year, decided to kick my work outs up a notch with a cycle.
My work outs jumped, my mood stabilized, anxiety went away and dropped my body fat, increase my muscle mass; however, my diet was in line, I never missed a work out, and was happy. I also had started my own business.
I was happy till I slipped on the ice and broke my dominate wrist, spending a year in a cast, doing rehab, and told no weight training. That year off turned into two and then three, as my company was growing and so was weigh. I’m now shift gears career wise that will allow my life to be mine again and I’ve put the first priority as me.
I went on keto last quarter, got my diet in line and in 45 days lost 18 lbs, with no exercise and went from 212 down to 194. I dropped a to a 32-33 waist size vs 34-35. I forgot how much I used to like having abs and muscle definition.
I’m approaching 46 and figure it’s time to track back to 7 years ago when I was truly in great shape.
