Is having a protein shake in the morning really fasted cardio?

I was just curious on everyones thoughts
fasted cardio in the am
is best or should I say ideal for fat loss but
being in a fasted state over night even if you have a casien shake
your body still needs protein upon waking
so would having a shake really "screw" things up with regards to fat loss
in the morning because technically it wouldnt be fasted cardio.
Just curious on everyones thoughts

It is fine, as long as the shake is low in carbs. It shouldn't spike your blood glucose much at all.

Fasted cardio means no food! protein, carbs, fats ect.

your body will use that protein as a fuel,

how about you take a shake, lift hard,,,,then do post workout cardio for less than 30 min. low intensity.

the body is already stubborn enough at burning off cal not sure why you would eat calorie then get on a treadmill.

never heard that you NEED protein after you wake up,,,what happens to people when you dont eat protein after you wake up? croak and die? hahah j/k.

what if you wake up and you are not hungry,,,,pound a cold shake and make your stomach stressed out? when its not optimized for digestion yet? i dont think that would be good.

however if you are really starving, taking like eca or gh then getting on a treadmill would be good, liberating fatty acid through those chem's cAMP and all that stuff we read about,,,,then you would actually be accomplishin the whole point of empty stomach no food cardio

also cort/test/t3 all those things are high in the morning, they all work together to provide fuel.

i lift in the morning, it was so terrible at first but i got used to it, and now i can still grow, stronger etc. just for me though, i think everyone is different, however that routine gives me lean growth....and i have all day to eat, instead of going to bed when i used to lift at night. of course anabolics will be optimum to have around.

Just take some amino acid with water and do fasted cardio. Not food or shake.
 
There is no need to use a protein shake before you do your AM cardio. Man up and go hungry. Use a BCAA drink if you absolutely must. Even protein can be converted to glucose if there are no carbohydrates present.

trust me guys i wish i could wake up at 4am and go to the gym before my wife goes to work but honestly i am too tired, pussy i know but why would i go and not give 110 % honestly i give respect to you guys who go that early
what time do u guys go to bed
honestly we go to bed at like 9 or 10 pm and i am still tired after only6 hours of sleep
 
I use TrueProteins BCAA Boost and it makes my morning cardio an easy ass breeze
 
i read a post by Dante a while ago about taking bcaa's before doing your fasted cardio. i have been doing it for a while now and i think it definitely works. Some days if i am famished, i may have a one scoop shake and my black coffee, the gym is about 40 min away for me.
 
Its working just great for me, I also pop 8 yohimbine hcl caps from TrueProtein as well and fat loss is coming!
 
don't have a shake before morning cardio, you can have some bcaa's but save the shake till after you have done your cardio...
 
BCAAs and/or EAAs will be used as fuel if taken before fasted cardio.
 
when I do hill sprints in the AM I wake up consume 10g BCAA and inject some GH (2-4IU) and then sprints like 20 minutes post injection (when the ffa's are present in bloodstream for consumption).
