Is there a spice shortage?

Wtf is going on with Spices lately?

First I used to use la grille chipoltle mango chicken spice- was amazing. Then it became sold out everywhere. Pricing rose from 20$/kg to 80$/kg if you could find it.

Moved on to these small flavor god spices. Was getting them for 7 bucks- then supplement store raised price to 20 bucks.

Next moved on to LA grille barbeque season Spice.. now it's selling out fast everywhere.

It's bad enough chicken has almost doubled in price since last fall. My butcher literally looks at the floor everytime he sees me and tells me how the price has risen yet again.

Not sure but I've had trouble finding my light and fit Greek yogurt tubs, even the plain pickles, low fat whipped cream lately. Items that were always in stock. Just a FYI Walmart has some low calorie bbq, teriyaki sauces, 5 or 10 calories per 2 tbsp. Just my opinion but I'm expecting the wording the future regarding the food and gas crisis, trying to prepare.

In South Florida it’s completely random. Cream cheese seems to be number 1 item right now lol. Grocery stores have a 1 per customer limit and that’s assuming they even have any.

I use chili powder and cinnamon mainly. Ginger here and there. Haven't really noticed.

Just seen on the news there's a Tampon shortage here!! Good thing I got a macho woman, she rolls her own

It's partly due to issues with container manufacturing. Not necessarily the products in short supply, but the plastic containers.
