I’ve kept a half way decent journal lately and it seems to point to dairy.
I don’t think it’s high calcium (blood work is never abnormal), but maybe an electrolyte imbalance?
I love Chobani yogurt and smoothies, as well as Core Power Protein Shakes, and ice cream.
What I’ve noticed — when I consume these items consistently in high doses over 2-3 weeks, I start to get woozy/headaches. It increases as time / consumption go on. For example if I go a week without much of those products then eat a bowl of ice cream, no issues. It seems it builds up over 2-3 weeks for example where if I do it consistently enough I’ll have symptoms.
The best way I can describe the feeling is floating/nausea. It’s definitely not the spins nor is it a migraine. There’s really not much I can do to fix it other than time. It’s not diahrrea or vomiting either.
For example, the most recent case was I was eating a lot of Oberwies Super Premium Ice Cream every night. By a lot I mean half a quart.
After a few weeks, I felt like crap all day, naturally I’d run out of the ice cream, and have a a day or 2 off. 2-3 days later I’d feel OK again.
I’m a 26 year old male, I have no diagnosed food allergies aside from a .22 IGG to milk and a .16 igg to wheat. Which my understanding is those mean absolutely nothing.
I’m 192lbs, Caucasian and have noticed this over the past 2 years. I’m 6’01”.
