Hopefully this doesn't come off as bragging:
So tonight was squat night again, and though I probably should have stuck with 495 and tried to get 6 or 7 reps, I decided to go up to 505 (hey, it's only 2% more weight). Anyways, something went wrong and 505 felt way too heavy and I ended up getting only 3 reps. This really angered me, lol. I've been making steady progress for at least a couple months, and now I basically just went "backwards". Was I just supposed to accept it and finish my workout? Hey we all have bad days, right? Well, I mulled it over for a while, then decided to forget about the "bad set" and just start all over again. I set up again, and hit 505 for 5 reps.
