What are your opinions on tren on a cut ? Is it absolutely a must? Or can you get away without it ?
Can you elaborate pleaseAbsolutely not required.
I over-used it on my return to stage and it made me look worse, not better.
Made me look flat and stringy. Can you elaborate please
What would you replace the tren with ?Absolutely not required.

I don't see it needing to be replaced. Certainly not on a "cut".What would you replace the tren with ?
For me what impact the look the most is winstrol.
this, really
but then.. you know...
also, winstrol also compromises collagen and connective tissue, right? - that's why guys are always getting tears close to contests? or at least they used to... getting smarter about training now perhaps
though Lunsford did literally just tear his pec before the last Olympia
I believe that risk for injuries in last weeks of a prep are a combination of many things: when body fat is very low intra-articular fat is very low as well, cushion around tendons and ligaments is not present, synovial fluid viscosity changes. Then you also have a low estrogen which make tendons stiffer and in most cases increased cortisol which slows healing and fibroblast activity.I want to address this because people are using this property of Winstrol both ways.
I'll go out on a limb here - neither is happening with four weeks of pre-contest use, and likely nothing substantial with even 8 weeks use, which is too long anyway IMO
- There is a belief it precipitates tendon damage
- People think it can "thin the skin" by degrading skin collagen
You're not going to be undoing your collagen structures like that, I do not believe it is possible.
To me this is the epitome of "bro-science" Seeing something in science and applying it like a "bro".
Justin Harris is the only coach I have seen challenge this misconception openly - particularity in regards to thinning the skin pre-contest.

Winstrol tends to give a boost of strength when your tendons are weaker but, in my opinion, not the single contributing factor to the injury risk.
It also reduces collagens synthesis, lowers tendon elasticity and joint lubrication but I don't know how long it takes to have that effect.
