A few days ago I was posting about how I never use a syringe filter, or heat to sterilize cooking oil that I use for my home brews and how I've never had a problem. Well, Monday I took 1 1/2 cc's of human grade test enanthate (not homemade) in each delt and I'm having a problem for the first time ever. Both delts are enormously swolen. They are hot and red, but they aren't red at the actual injection sites. Both arms have tennis ball size red spots about two inches below the injection sites and there's a high fever in the area too. I suppose the oil is traveling downward and taking the pain with it. My whole body aches like I have the flu and I just feel like shit in general. I don't have any antibiotics handy, so hopefully this crap clears up soon, I really don't want to go to the doctor. I have a bad habit of not going to the doctor unless I'm near death.

U can do a search for antibiotics, buy some online and get them within 2 or 3 days might be worth it.

So, Angus do you have problems on any dose, or is it only whey you're doing high doses?

I had the same thing happen to me last year. I shot the tricep and 3 days later my upper arm was swelled up like a balloon. I waited a week until the pain was unbearable and then went to the doctor. She said it was an infection and the meds cleared it up within 5 days and actually started working that day. I wouldn't wait any longer if I were you, cause that shit only gets worse. On a side note' the she-doc asked me "so why are you taking these anabolic drugs?"-"to get roid rage, hairless, and more acne" I answered.

I agree with Crowler. Get some Keflex or Cephalexin quickly, and not through a doc if you can help it. I think IP even sells some antibiotics.

Hey, do you guys who confess to your doctor ever worry about your use of AAS going into a medical file? A friend of mine used to sell health insurance and he said if you ever have to go get an independant policy (PPO) you'd be screwed if that was in your records. No one would insure you...

went to the doc and since he was cool he gave me cipro and augmentin, enuff for abt a month each, but u only need 5 days on either.
gave me the sample pax, if u go in, ask for them, the doc is usually happy to give out the samples.

Well, I have proven once again that I AM INDESTRUCTABLE!! Last night I took a magic combo of 400 mg ibuprofen, 1000 mg vit c, 1000 iu's of vit e, and two garlic oil capsules. I don't know if this is actually what did it, but today the swelling is way down, the redness is almost gone and so is the heat. I also feel much better. I have an immune system like the man in my avatar. Viva la me.

Oh yeah, one other thing I'd like to say. There's a reason for my strong immune system. You see, when I was two years old, I used to sneak away when my mom wasn't looking and go swim with my dog in our neighbors septic tank. I would always get a good ass whipping when I got caught, but I kept doing it every chance I got. The neighbors never would cover the thing up. Anyway, I highly recommend this to anyone with young children. Let 'em take a swim in the septic tank. If they live through it, they'll be the healthiest people you've ever met. If you don't have a septic tank, just go to a public bathroom and have them drink from the toilet every day.

cut in 1/2 with another AS. Cook 250degrees 20min, cool 20min. Repeat for 3 total cycles of cooking/cooling.

Seriously, my immune system got a huge boost from taking alergy shots as an adolescent. no septic tank needed.

I have used all brands but typically use the Pakistani Sust 250's, ICN Depo Test (Enanthate) or when using prop I use the the Secomed 100mg Romanian (which I hear are no longer avail). For some reason it all seems to give me flu-like symtoms. It's like I built an intolernace for it. All in all, the Prop works best for me. I just tried the Denkall Cypiotest 250 and the same thing... Flu-like fever. Any feedback on the Denkall Cyp? (Brown box and bottle). Hey Jerry, what brand of test do you prefer?

Well, sometimes injections just hurt. Actually they USUALLY hurt, I've only had a couple in 2 years that didn't have any pain. The pain I can handle, it's the crippling shots that I can't tolerate. Luckily, I haven't had many of those.

I am curious about the shots always hurting. Most of mine have hurt to one degree or another, some more than others of course.


BUT . . . this week I brewed up some Tren and half way through filtering I broke the syringe filter and just refiltered the entire thing. I have almost ZERO pain in the first 2 shots and the third one I did last night.

Heck I can't even tell exactly where on my glute I put it in even when I rub the area because there is virtually NO pain.

It is amazing. Admitedly it was only 1.25 CCs but I wonder if the double filtering has anything to do with it.

As you say it is no biggy if there is pain but I am wondering why none on this. I remember QV Test used to hurt for a week but it has been a couple years since I used any of that.

I didn't heat it. I used to then you read one post from a guy who says he is a pharmacist and another from a guy who says he is a molecular chemist who says 250 degrees is NOT enought to kill the bacteria BUT it is enough to degrade the BA so you are actually making it MORE likely that you will get an infection. Then our resident expert here says to heat it.

OH HELL I don't know what to do. Maybe just heat half of it and mix it with the other half that you do NOT heat.

Well, I have always said not to heat your gear. IT IS NOT A SMART THING TO DO!!! I will say it again just for the record. EVERYONE STOP HEATING YOUR GEAR!! Really, my good brothers, research this. Don't research it on a bodybuilding board, research it scientifically. Talk to people like Crowler mentions. Heating steroids does a lot more harm than good.

By the way, I assume the pain I experience is a result of high volume and frequent injections.

Im not sure but hopefully the BA will not totally degrade, and enough left tokill bacteria. Remember high amounts of BA are in there not to kill bacteria, but to hold high mg doses in the oil. And when it was at full strength before its baked-it should have done its job and killed all the possible bacteria already.

I dont mind a shot that stings/hurts a bit either. Its the lumps/sores that suck. I only get that from water suspension. Only had a BA reaction once,
I could live with that as it wasnt as bad as BBjs-a little redness and felt funny
but not quite sick.
