ISSA or ACE personal training certification?

I know ACE is probably more recognized but I'm thinking about going with ISSA. any suggestions?

eventully I really like ISSA i've seen thier textbook and it looked to be really in depth, I will probably do ISSA first. Anyone know how much ACE cost? issa is about 600 bucks

i think same as ace. deff not more. but around 500 or so

I have been ISSA cert since 1995...back then it was a thick ass black and white book...Dr. Hatefield (sp) has brought this up so much. I like the new format and more detail.

ISSA is nice, but more "health clubs'" recognize ACE.

ACE is the only thing that military bases accept for their trainers, at least it used to be that way.

I got both (i would go with ACE if i had to chose just one)

I think you best bet is a NSCA - CSCS. They are the only program that requires a trainer to have a BS. Now this doesn't have to be in exercise science or similar related field just a BS from an accredited college / university. I think that weeds out some of the fly by night trainers and a lot of people appreciate that. Beyond that, I think that are all relative.
