I have posted this image before but having just run across it again this morning,
could not help but think about some of the recent posts here where members
talk about how much they weigh, or how big their arms, etc. are, or how tall they
are (or aren’t), or how strong they are and or how huge their dosages are.
And then there is the unavoidable; people asking the same as if they too had the
same “numbers” you would somehow, someway, look the same or better. All I can
say to that is lots of luck . . .
But, with damn few exceptions (we know who you are and thank you), we usually
we never see a glimpse of these so called monsters, never see what they actually
look like. We are just reading numbers and weight and height classes’ aside . . .
all those numbers mean absolutely nothing, are for the most part totally irrelevant.
To my eye, nothing illustrates my point more perfectly than the juxtaposition that
occurs in the foto below.
A world class bodybuilder surrounded by two very big and strong young men that on
paper would easily get your attention. Not that they don’t the foto; they are huge
and strong, and if you looked at just their “numbers” you would not fail to be impressed.
But in bodybuilding it takes a tad bit more than big numbers, just size and strength and
huge dosages to be successful.
So to those who have not already done so . . . quit bragging about your numbers and
let’s see some fotos.
It’s how you look, plain and simple.
PS. If your concerned about your anonymity, PM me and I’ll work on your image in
Photoshop to make sure you are unrecognizable and send it back to you. I’m happy
to help and my lips are sealed . . . Does not get any better than that.
