Ivan, I read your thought on your "extra gear" and it reminded me of being in BUD/S again. Everyone of us that made it through Hell Week thought we were robots or something that couldn't be turned off. That way we wouldn't fail. Thanks for bringing that back bro.

I find that a lot of military men, (a lot on Coronado in SD Seal training camp) have to adapt to this new gear or else they will not last. Everyone can do it, and like you said; we felt like robots --- which is EXACTLY what I mean. You forget pain, fatigue, hunger, thirst, and remember your goal/objective. ANd you will DIE b4 you fail....
