1 1/4 cup Ezekiel cereal with 2 Splenda packets and 4 oz water
160-carb blueberry bagel with 1 tbsp cream cheese

if its offseason its not gonna be that clean. but i still bet thats cleaner than a lot of others
 
i am afraid that this is why the guys today look like cattle


haney and co......never looked bloated because they just didn't take in so many insane calories......the guys today are just way over the top on their eating.......jimmy quinn never ate more than 5000 cals and he was a big man but these fellas today are eating way too much......your body cannot process that much food.....am i wrong????
 
I don't believe that's his diet....

spent some time with him in Venice... during offseason

breakfast he ate 16 egg whites and just an average bowl of oatmeal

and post workout he just ate a bob bowl at the firehouse.

def. not 7600 calorie level.. he said he hates eating, and has a hard time consuming calories.

said he increases and eats more calories and more frequently leading into a show....
 
Are you kidding me? Jay eats cleaner in the offseason compared to most pros/regular bbers. He does get a little chunky during the offseason however. He gets up to 12% bf at times. I've seen and met him during the offseason. This is due to the fact that he eats more simple carbs during the offseason compared when he is dieting down for a show. Jay's diet is similar to mine. :)

Now that's more like it. When I met him, we didn't talk diet but talked about training for a bit.

Bro, you have to remember that Jay has a lot more muscle mass than you or I, therefore he needs to eat more to maintain his muscles mass. Hell, he has to eat a lot more than you or I to bulk. I myself eat 5k+ cals per day and I find myself hating eating at times.

I'm pretty sure the body can process more, what it turns it into will mostly be lard. I am actually a little supprised that he doesn't eat more than that given some of the stories I have heard.

on a side note.....i have had the bob bowl @ the firehouse......that flank steak is like eating a shoe......i would rather have the bob bowl with a new york strip for the meat......it is a lot of food though.

i prefer the haney look also.....still one of the best backs the sport has ever seen......i think haney ate 5000 cals off season......but he always looked hard and tight.....never weighed more than 255-260......but great size and a damn small waist......chest shoulders and traps right up there with anybody......he was probably the best Mr O of all time.....physique wise......personality wise.......he trained smart and ate smart.....these guys today need to refine what they have.....not get bigger. IMHO

i hear alot of neg's about firehouse.. but whenever i've gone there food is pretty decent.. def. not eating tenderloin at a five star... but i found it was good... most of the time though i got it all chicken...

the egg whites there are always great. better than i can make em lol.

to also note.. the bob bowl Jay said would be his biggest meal of the day..
