So he had normal levels
Or are you saying 750-1000mg a week?
Even still.. that shouldn’t necessarily be enough to cause serious issues - barring some pre-existing genetic predisposition
No, he did not have "normal levels" at 1000mg. His free test was off the charts, stupid, and unnecessary.
1000mg weekly for years. And that's a ton of test and not necessary if you're not a competitor. Having high free test over a certain age is dangerous and plain stupid. There's no need, and if you can't get your body to look great at 200mg of any test weekly, then your training and diet truly sucks.
No, he did not have a pre-existing genetic predisposition. His genes were great, he looks under 40 and trains heavy. This was 100% due to stupid test dosing for a non-competitor.
thats the problem not the test dose
Yes, it IS the test dose, which caused all of the other problems on the blood work, and the high blood pressure and everything else that magically dropped when he brought it down to 200mg. Bloodwork has now been stable. There's no need to go above 200mg weekly if you're above a certain age. I know you've had problems and lowered everything yourself, even though you took precautions and self medicated with the correct supplements - still, you found that you needed to lower everything and you're still a beast!
For those not competing, there's absolutely zero need to go above 200mg weekly when you're 50 and over. If you're below 50, don't be a fool - get your blood work done and stay safe.
