Good afternoon, fellas. Intro of me.

I’m 22 years old and preparing for my first shows ever.

I have been requested by a few people to start a log as I begin my prep here starting the first week of December! Right now I am in the back half of my off-season and I just got blood pulled two weeks ago and they were better than whenever I was natural, which is pretty crazy.

Had a single thing was out of line except for my HDL by two points, so I will gladly take it.

Most of my off-season was ran with Luki and for my prep Chris Tuttle and the rest of this off-season he has taken over as of about two months ago.

I will be competing in classic two shows this year. I’ve already picked out one show in Dallas and then I’ll be doing another show about a month later in May.

Right now, I am doing
Test, EQ, Mast, growth, nova rapid on training days only, and 500 mcg of Reta week.

Current split:

Push, back and bi, legs, rest, back and bi, shoulders tris hams, rest.

He is conservative to a degree for sure annd will push if blood work allows and is necessary ,and very health conscious which is what I love bc I’d prefer to play with lt grandchildren one day lord willing.

There is life after bodybuilding.

I’d prefer to not get into doses with AAS as much but you can guess around where I’m at man.

I’m 22 and this is my second huge actually offseason ever.

Gh I run at 10. Started that about 6 months ago

Slin is 8iu pre and 4iu postworkout
 
Checkins this morning.

Nothing changed in the plan looking at 4 weeks from the beginning of prep.

Had a free meal this evening of a homemade burger using 93/7 beef and some canyonhouse gluten free buns.

Deciding to only do two regional shows this year and national show will wait until next year.

Getting married in July then honeymoon in August!

Rest day today. I don’t have anyone sponsoring this log, but I simply wanted to make it just to keep myself accountable and hopefully entertain others while learning as well.

Diet is up there for me now bc I’m a smaller fella. I’m only 5’5.

This previous offseason we did very high carb almost no protein and moderate fat which I was a fan of.

Right now with Tuttle it is a more rounded diet with fats in every meal now. I have noticed I am more dry and pumps and digestion is definitely better as I don’t feel crazy full all the time from so
Much rice etc.

Most meals are rice/sweet potatoes plus fruit. Using a shit ton of fruit which has actually been a nice change along with kale in multiple meals. I have trouble getting down veggies, but air fried kale is so good and shrinks tiny and mixes well into any meal.

Cardio is at 6x25mins fasted. And it’s done in a treadmill as that’s what I have at my home. I’d prefer the elliptical but I don’t want to have to drive to the gym at 3-4am to then have to come back home.

If cardio is added postworkout once prep begins then I’ll do the cardio am fasted in treadmill and postworkout on elliptical.

Looking very forward to this prep as I’ll be hitting two shows.

You guys think classic?

Mind sharing more about the added fats with each meal? I watch a lot of Jordan Hutchinson's videos and he has added fats in all his meals. Usually whole egg, 80-90% been or steak cuts, nut butter, or oil (avocado, olive, etc.).
Have you noticed any changes with digestion with the inclusion of more dietary fats per day? Slower digestion, more frequent bowel movements, stool quality, etc.

Sorry if this is a lot to ask! I generally prefer high carb, moderate-high protein, low fat, but I've had some clients that have suboptimal digestion when their dietary fat intake gets too low - even with 2-3 servings of vegetables and fruit per day.

Yea man I’m 5’5 so weight cap should be 177. I’m about 25-30lbs away depending on what I ate.

One thing we’ve been working on is more variety period in the diet. I was a very lazy bodybuilder of just chicken rice etc: you know the drill lol.

Training day
First meal: 2 eggs and nut butter
Meal 2: 5ml olive oil
Meal 3(pre meal): 15g nut butter
Meal 4(post): 15g nut butter
Meal 5: 10ml olive oil

Fats remain generally the same for rest days only carbs move.

I’ve noticed more sustained energy throughout the day and this is simply from the fats slowing gastric emptying so my glucose spikes are not 1. Near as high, or, 2. Spiked near as fast.

Shits are more regular and solid. I have it timed basically when I’ll need to use the restroom. Shits went from 1 a day to now 1-2 depending on rest or training day.

Overall body feels more fresh and more happy is that makes sense at all!

Are you picking movements and sticking with them for a period trying to progress them, or choosing weekly depending how you feel and what's available

I like the way we have it bc ultimately it does let me choose! I’m a creature of habit and I’ve chosen the movements I enjoy best.

My gym is very small with only one piece of equipment per exercise schools if that makes sense. We only have one smith machine, one incline hammer press, one pec deck etc.

This makes it to where a lot of times things are taken so I choose something damn close that feels just as good.

Today is pushback if all the benches are taken for dumbell flat press then I’ll do a very low incline smith press
