from the few pics I've seen, the guy that beat him doesn't look worse then John.. I understand John is very popular here, but lets be objective. Ely certainly needs to bring his arms up to match his lower body, no doubt about that.

He sure does look huge. Not the only factor in winning a show though. Plus he is one of the shortest guys so that always seem to hurt. I'm not even 5'5", so I don't say that in a condescending way by any means.

John looks totally different in this pics and a locker room pic which was posted few weeks ago. Last minute mistakes or bad angle?

I'm a huge fan of John's...and I can't to wait for him to get his pro...Lord willing he'll get it...but it isn't like he was "robbed"...Mike looked very good as well...didn't have the hams that John has...but then there are few who do.

However, from what I've been able to see, Mike had some additional thickness in his arms, chest, and back...with lower lat thickness as well. This is coming from the pics I saw...and doesn't take away from John...to place 2nd and 3rd is DAMN impressive.

Congrats to Mike and John, both are solid warriors...it's just too bad someone has to lose....

That's Ronald Seargant (3rd). I have only seen that one pic so I can't go by that. But yeah from that one pic I would say he looked the best. JM is an inspiration but from that one pic I would put him 5th. But again one pic means nothing and the order would change with each angle/pose.

It's not about how good of a person someone is, it's bodybuilding meaning who has a better body.
