i find that i can still grow on 300mgs of test as long as i really push food and training hard.
 
I've always wondered about the receptor mechanisms and how they really work. You hear some people preach "Receptor Downgrade" and others say that AAS usage causes receptor upgrade and new receptor proliferation.

What's your take on those theories as they relate to the topic above?

I believe...(and think it is widely accepted by those who are much smarter than I) that receptor upgrade occurs. However, it is most certainly at a certain rate where you can overload to the point of not being beneficial.

I think receptor downgrade was a myth and spread for a while through dogmatic thinking.

I know that from 2011-2014 I did not exceed 250mg a week...in fact, spent about 18 of those 36 months off everything(I would not do that again). The only thing I dabbled with in 2012 and maybe a TINY bit of 2013 was GH..

Remember when you saw me for the first time in 5 months at my gathering when I came home and was asking me WTF had I done? Almost 2 months of being on nothing, then the next 3, 250mg a week and those legendary 2011 Rips at 2-3.3iu. That's it! Adding GH (good gh) of course adds another dynamic, but I truly believe 250-300mg can work wonders for certain "down times" or "cruising" periods.

If the muscle is already there from years of hard work in the gym, eating, and AAS, 250-300mg will hold it. Maybe not forever or as you age....but certainly for a very long time. I imagine I could have done even better with more attention to my diet and a Mountaindog training plan. :lightbulb:

Finally got to listen to the whole podcast and absolutely loved it. Some really great info in this. I love the honesty and sincerity of MD. You don't find that with most guys talking about these subjects. I would highly recommend this to anyone and yes, it's worth sitting around putting off your homework for two hours as I did :D
