Meadows is awesome. The sheer volume of free, frequent information he's providing is unreal. His down-to-earth personality is an absolute breath of fresh air in an industry dominated by dickheads.

Meadows has said elsewhere he's been on TRT since 2002. He attempted to come off and fully restart then but it just didn't work.

He recommends guys come off completely if possible but if you're to far gone it's TRT.

300 Test
2-4 IU GH
slin (no specific amounts mentioned)


This is going back years, and is consistent with what he said in this video.

Just sounds a little contradictory to me given he's been on TRT for the last 16 years. Who knows how much smaller he'd be if he came off between blasts.

I don't respond well to gear, definitely have poor genetics for this sport/endeavor on the whole, but personally I didn't keep any gains until I switched to blasting and cruising. And my cruises were just 80-150mg test per week but that seemed to make a huge difference for me in terms of keeping gains.

I feel like rebounding off cycle is a genetic thing as well but I think a lot of people don't give themselves enough time to recover... I cycled in and off again for going on 18 years... usually I took between 2-6 months off
Between cycles but as I got older I took longer breaks... i have noticed that as I got older it has taken a little longer to bounce back from a cycle... as far as lethargy goes, morning wood etc etc... when I was young it took a month, month and a half... now it's about 2 and a half months bordering on 3 months depending on the compounds... in all honesty I would tell my younger self to avoid tren and nandrolone if I could travel back in time as usually I felt like I recovered the slowest from 19-nor compounds... I did do a blood work recently and my test was in the normal range 4 months after a cycle but I know that it was on the lower end a month before that just due to the way I felt in the gym and in the bed with the gf

I never *felt* bad off cycle. Frankly if you asked me at the time I would have said I more or less felt the same regardless. But inevitably what would happen is my strength and size would be same for 1-2 months then I'd start losing size and strength I gained during the cycle regardless of what I did. Spent 1.5 years cycling on and off and maybe put on a net 2-3lb of muscle. Once I switched to blasting and cruising appropriately I put on a net 12lb of LBM the next year.

Not saying everyone should do that, like I said I don't even blast anymore, but it's what worked for me.

I think I have been very clear and consistent regarding these things. I realize not everyone agrees, and that's ok, it's just my opinion.

There were many an awesome bodybuilder created before blasting and cruising became popular. Believe it or not, people use to come off all the time using mostly HCG and Clomid.

Somewhere along the way, people became convinced you could never come off.

If you can recover your own system with PCT, ALWAYS do that. This is why I recommend it. Now you will eventually come to a point where you can't come off and have to do HRT. That happened to me in 2003. That's when PCT just didnt work anymore and I had to stay on Test.

At some point I realized that I could actually have really good offseasons with low dose test, GH, and a little humalog here and there, and keep my bloodwork in very good shape. That is when I made that my offseason, and then the "blast" would be precontest. if you have tracked my progress over the years you'll see points where i started my "diets" lighter and lighter, not really losing much weight over the course of 12 weeks, but continued to improve despite not getting heavy in the offseason. Having fresh receptors in the pre-contest phase makes a big difference IMO. Common sense also always told me to save the hardening agents until you really needed them so they worked the absolute best.

I have tried this approach with several clients.... NOBODY lost muscle EVERYONE improved

I also cut most of their blast dosages in half .... guess what? EVERYONE improved

As long as your nutrition is on point and you train hard their is no reason one cant make improvements on the above protocol

I feel like less is more is the new "fad" almost. Or dosages just kept getting blown outta proportion by random people who don't follow diet, idk.
