i will never reference a past fruity pebbles story again after reading John Meadows feature in the June 2016 Muscular Development magazine.

i thought JM was "just" a nutritional expert and one elite shredded bb but was humbled to see he has a "real job." and all i can think is where does he find the time to also be an elite family man while juggling all of that and sharing on forums? i'm not blowing smoke. i'm not looking for power bar discount coupons, that magazine article was a startling wake up call of what one human being can accomplish. i've been around the block and just wanted to say "That'll do pig, that'll do."

No two ways about it this magazine story was amazing.

He left that gig. Honestly; that reason is only PART of why a lot of us love John Meadows. The man ALMOST died, and came back to turn pro. In an industry that's fueled by hubris, and insecurity; John is an honest, hardworking, and humble man who values family, and health over bodybuilding.

A large majority of us were attracted to this sport, because we felt we had some sort of void to fill/fuel. It's very refreshing to see a man who can juggle god knows how many projects, have time to raise kids, and be a pro-bodybuilder.

John left that job a while back because he reached the point where he was able to make a living through training, nutrition and everything that is MountainDog training.

Reading comprehension? The entire thrust of the article was how he took a gamble and left the security of that job to pursue what he loved and it's paid off.

Did you just skim it standing at the store in your Jorts or something? I give MD articles a very thorough analysis whilst evacuating my bowels on Das poopenhaggen. Nothing gets the day started like Muscle tech ads.

Another very interesting piece in that edition was hi-tech pharmaceuticals/aps legal battles with the FDA. Dude has literally taken on fights for the good of the entire supplement industry, been fined out the ass and is still standing. He needs a fucking monument or something.

John is the biggest Pioneer of the bodybuilding industry..next to Arnold IMO. I know thats a strong statement but i stand by that.
