I agree that while all this is tragic, I totally disagree with changing any rulings. it's not like the athletes are forced to make awful decisions, they're perfectly capable of saying 'no' when things don't sound right. will it mean you might not win your trophy? sure, who says you should have, anyway? if you can't win a show without practically dying in the process, maybe you should pick up another hobby or simply realize you don't have the genetics nor the work ethic or drive to get it done without taking absolute extreme measures, especially involving shit like diuretics. guys have come in just as peeled before without almost dying. nothing changed, just our attitude towards extremes did. when things go fucky, you don't lower the bar, which you're obviously doing with things said above, if they are to go into effect. stupid attitude to have, sets a bad precedent and the truly gifted no longer shine so bright
