Junior National this weekend - Chicago

Well guys and gals,

It's that time again, for the windy city...It's time for a new star(s) to come out of the woods...A few years ago it was Phil Health, last year Brandon Rey, and Mike Locket (what happen to him ?) Who will it be this year ??? Could it be one of the guys on the board ??? Is anyone even doing this show this year ???

I just want everyone to know that Sarah and I will be there all night friday and Saturday...I will be helping out in the Optimum booth friday night, so anyone on there from the Professional muscle board, please come up and introduce yourself to us...I love putting a face/body with a name...

i will be stopping by the booth saturday bro, so im sure i'll see ya. jeff long (LOL) if he gets lean enough should win this show IMO, dave does have him at his leanest yet, theres a couple of vids of him 2 weeks out on MD and although i think he should be a tan leaner for 2 weeks out, it is the leanest he's been to date, the lil guy has a ton of muscle standing right at about 5'6 and 230lbs

sean allen will do great also, and who know's about Trey..LOL we will have to see about that one

Hey B-Boy do you mean Jeff Long? I think Braun is competing later in the year if I am not mistaken.

About 4 years ago I attended the NPC East Coast show.. that was held in Patterson, NJ.. I missed most of the Prejudging..due to fact that I cut off on the FDR and had a slight accident..by the time everything was sorted out with the cops..I missed prejudging..so I hung around for the night show...I remember just sitting in my car and seeing this kid..walking with John O'Reagan... First of all the kid (Jeff Long) looked literally Inflated...big .. he was short too..I recall seeing his calves..and which were a sight to behold..like someone threw two London Broils on the back of his legs.. I do remember he seemed to laboring a bit when he walked..so perhaps at 5'6 and 240 or whatever he weighs when he is trying to achieve contest condition..perhaps that is stressing his system a bit.
From the latest clips I have seen of him on MD he really has improved his condition over his previous contest experiences... I am certain that he will do pretty well this weekend.

John O'Reagan........oh boy. No comment on that one.

Jeff looks his best yet. Trey Brewer vs. Sean Allen should be a good one to see.

I don't think Jeff will beat Sean Allen. Sean has WAY better shape and was in very good condition already at the Atlantic States. Jeff still looked like he has a good amount to drop at 2 weeks out. Trey who knows what he'll show up like.

Look for fellow Hoosier Dan Decker to shake things up in the Heavies....He is looking really good...

Time flies I competed against him in my first show as a lightheavy weight 4 years ago and he won the class and I got 3rd....

If Brewer shows up in shape, I don't think there's anyway anyone will beat him. Although Allen did look great 2 weeks ago.

there was a blog on BSN's website were Trey says he is ready to go. I guess it's just a waiting game and seeing if he really is..

I agree. Jeff Long is the talk of the judges right now. If he comes in ripped he should be the winner!

well...

saw the 2 weex out vids... he loox behind, and belly!! lot of muscle but not even close to grainy or veiny. Great shape and a lot of muscle but IMO behind sched

I say lets just wait and see what happens here in Chi town...It seems to me except for Lockett last year, hardly any of the supers are in true contest conditioning...but Allen is good and ready ,but I dont know about Long or the rest of the guys in the super's...I would beat that the overall winner will be from the Heavy or lightheavys...
