At first I loved the ability to use BC for board sponsor purchases. So much easier than WU for sure.
But now...............what is going on???
I used CashApp for years......never a problem. I only used it once or twice a year for my purchases without an issue, ever.
I went to use it a month ago, per them my account is suspended for suspicious activity......what activity?? I haven't used it in months.
So after spending time with customer support I still sit here with it suspended.
On to Paypal, bought the BC and waited a week, go so send payment and it won't let me send it to a sponsor, says it's a layer of security protection.
For grins I try to send some to my son, same thing. I call their customer support, they say it's automated and just keep trying. A week later it still won't allow me to send BC so I call again. My argument with them it's my BC, my account I've had for probably 20 years, I don't need their AI to determine if I'm being defrauded. They say there is nothing they can do. I ask if I'll ever be able to send BC, they say yes but who knows when.......LOL.
The funny part, if there is one, is I'm only trying to send a few hundred dollars, peanuts.
With it being more mainstream you'd think it would be getting easier not harder.

Many are using a bitcoin.com wallet and then going to a bitcoin atm to upload their wallet with funds. The wallet is only good for sending and receiving

The federal government has started to get involved more now and has made laws regulating crypto. so i would expect tighter controls and more hassle in the future.

Well I had BC sitting in a PayPal account for two weeks and they still wouldn't let me send it to a sponsor. So I did the Kraken and Exodus route. Buy with Kraken, send it to my Exodus wallet. My understanding is that since it's my wallet only I have control over where it goes so there's nothing to block sending it to a sponsor.

Yes if you do t want to get blocked send it to your own wallet (electrum etc) then send it to your family and sponsors etc

I use CashApp to buy, and send from my SafePal wallet. I miss being able to use CashApp to buy and send, but this isn't too bad.

I had only used CashApp to make a couple purchases over a year or so and they suspended my account. After weeks of trying to resolve I kissed them goodbye.

Don't send directly from exchanges. Send from a private wallet only you control.

I use Exodus as my private wallet. I just send my BC to it the same way you'd send it to any BC address.

I use cash app and I deposit money into the $ side from my bank account (takes 3 days) or with debit card (instant but with a 2% fee) and then buy some bitcoin. When it's cleared I send to my blockchain.com wallet then from there send to family or to a sponsor for paying for orders. The key is the external wallet you send to from your cashapp bitcoin wallet has to be one under your control. DON'T send directly to a sponsor as that's the fastest way to get banned as cashapp keeps track of what wallet addresses are flagged as suspect or are deemed to be used for illegal activity.

Another thing you have to be careful of is the frequency and amount of your bitcoin purchases as that could raise some flags too.
