Just got my first True Protein order...serving size question.

So the label says that a serving size is 1. 1 nothing...just 1. And that 1 _____ is 24g protein.

I'm assuming it's one scoop. But it's a tiny little babydoll teacup set sized scoop, about half the size of the scoop I'm used to getting in a bucket of whey or casein, so I'm wondering if this little scoop is 24g protein?

I weighed the scoop of protein on a digital scale and got 8g...but that may mean nothing.

A little scoop like you described is not going to yield you 24g of protein most likely. :) Most common protein scoops are 70 cc, that I see, and depending on the protein, it will usually yield you around 25 grams a protein, give er take..

What kind of protein did you purchase?

PeptoPro 1 serving = 30g.

I just looked on their site and they said that it needed to be weighed out.

I'll just go 30g on the digital scale.

Can't figure out why they'd bother selling a scoop that's pretty much useless to anyone that owns a spoon!;)

get the scoop. its by scoop and it says on their web site

Measuring Spoon (level) g mg
90cc Scoop 27.6 27621
70cc Scoop 21.5 21483
29.6cc Scoop 9.1 9084
25cc Scoop 7.7 7672

Yep...just saw it on the bottom. 25cc.

Never had to worry about it before, just scoop and go!

Okay, sorry for the stupid question!
