hey man, if its not too much trouble i was hoping you could recommend one book or even a software program that can teach me the basics of computing. im not wanting to learn programming or anything like that. i tried to post a link in thread earlier and wasnt even able to do that...its frustrating.

Well, to be honest, the "For Dummies" seriers is a great set of books. Lamens terms, explains things correctly and gives a good outlook.
