Kangen Alkaline water

So I have always felt that the whole "keep your body at alkaline levels," was absolutely nonsense. I still do for the most part. However a close friend of mine bought a water filter for the alkaline/micro-nized water and said he has noticed a huge difference. Their stomach feels better, not water logged from drinking decent amount of water, and can actually drink more. I would normally say its hogwash, but with who the person is, I tend to trust them.

I hear that squeezing a lemon or lime in water makes the water alkaline. So you don't really need the filter. Supposedly cancer and other diseases thrive in an acidic environment.
