bottom line is he does have talent but why should we fell bad for him not seeing his kids or family? He did it on his own and that is a price of being famous, I'm so tired of hearing these famous people say they have it rough...they don't see family cause on the road, no time to spend with wife or kids...well then after a concert go home and spend time with them instead of partying....bring them with....guess what I bet half of us travel for work and don't see family as much as we want.....each of his songs are about feeling sorry for him about to lose wife...stop cheating ass wipe......he as all poor, poor rich people make me sick. They have no clue of what real work is to earn hard earned money....and before anyone dare spews about how rough it is to be famous and people always around you then lets look at the hard workers who work 80 hours a week and about to be laid off....where are these rich people now to help the common folks out...they could care less unless your supporting the video or movie...OK, I'm done ranting...

All things aside taking Kanye and my as well as others personal opinions of him..the song in and of itself is very philosophically profound.

I listened to it several times and I heard it, the message within. We are all Pinnochio in a way...all trying to be a real person, we are not what you wear, what you drive how much $ you make, but real...in your essence.

This is similar to rich people calling themselves communists or socialists, example: Rage against the machine (like their music, don't get me wrong) used to preach radical anarchist philosophies and even had concerts in cuba and everything, but each one of them lives in a mansion enjoying every single bit of the opportunity the capitalist system gives us, so are they really anarchists or communists? no, its all an act to sell. Another example is those idiots that wear Che Guevara shirts claiming to support what he stood for, but don't you think that che guevara would be for the capitalization of a picture of him in shirts, against people getting rich off his picture?? of course, but marketers make it cool to be socialist or communist and fool the public to fall in this fake sense of ideologies that feeds capitalist system. I never once compared it to life. But I have seen people give to much in a frail pursuit at "making it big"(not limited to bodybuilding). Furthermore The message in this song is prevalent to of many though I put an enthesis on it's meaning being able to be linked to bodybuilding because of the measurements needed to be taken in order to achieve a goal that only grows with you. And on a personal note and yes I know it's just me but when ever I watch a movie , listen to music, look at a painting, or read a book(yes I still do) I can't help but analyze the artwork.

I must apologize to you big nasty as I did not intend to make this personal. However when posting this thread I did it so after analyzing a song with disregard to the artist. When a director creates a film or an author a novel and you analyze that film or novel you do it with the a disregard of the creater because it has no relevance or barring on what was created.
