Did you try it post workout or just pre workout?
I use Karboload from true nutrition in my intra shake and post workout shake.
TN is said to have some sort of better cyclic dextrin that would probably work better for creating a natural insulin spike
Yep, karboload is great. I've got thing for the watermelon flavor, it is so damn good.

For what purpose?
Intra and post workout. Although there still needs to be testing done on it, it appears to have a higher rate of gastric emptying and low osmolality than other high molecular weight carbs (e.g. waxy maize, karboload/karbolyn,...) so it will clear your stomach faster and not cause any gastric distress and will enable for faster replenishing of glycogen stores.
I use it and I know one thing is guaranteed every time I take it post . . . I get explosive diarrhea
Try mixing it in more water , I mix my intra shake in 2 liters of water not and start sipping on my way to the gym and during training and this has elimiminated any stomach issues I was having , John Medows advised this in another post and it has helped completely.
