yes, and yes for me. I won't ever do any thing to any person I wouldn't want done to me. I still feel like I'm paying off karma debt from my rebellious younger years, yet at the same time I think I have incredible social karma when it comes to the people I meet and opportunity's that present them self. Is any one on the same page with me I know this is a weird OT subject, lets not bring religion into it, I'm just wondering who also lives a karma based life?

Oh my god.. bro.. I have been beating my head over it for the past three hours cause i want to make a decision, but I dont know if i can justify it to myself. CAn I PM you about it. Its bodybuilding related and you seem to be on the same page as I, maybe you can help me..

But to answer your first question, I do definitely believe in KARMA, but moreso I believe in doing the right thing. Cause when I say that i believe in karma it sounds like i am doing the right thing, because of fear of having things coming back to me. But i rather just do the right thing cause, well its just how a person should live his life.

And i understand what you mean about hte past. I am 23 and i have done a few shameful things when I was 17, 18. But to be honest I dont even worry about it, cause i know what I have learned and I know what I stand for now, and would never do it again. NOt everyone starts out a saint..

allright bro give me five minutes. typing it up right now. read it and tell me your opinion.

Yes and yes. I don't know how it works, it just does.

yes...

Absolutely,.....I have almost always lived by this, but the very few times, I acted selfish, it came back....It's not a good feeling.

Karma isn't some sort of mystical force, but rather just a fact of life.

If you're the kind of guy who acts pretty shitty to others, how long is it going to be until you act shitty to a guy who doesn't stand for that kind of behavior?

Think about drinking and driving... many have done it without "failing". The guy who gets into a car accident because he was drinking.... was it karma? Or was he just drunk?

yes and yes, some things are just inexplicable :)

In a sense yes. I am a Traditional Catholic and I think this thought is more from Hinduism and Buddhism. We focus more on do unto to others... It is still the same thought. That is why we believe in penance. I was not a good person in the earlier part of my life. I'll bet, a lot worse than many here. We can share stories if you like. Mine is more of a testimony. For me, I had a conversion, thank God. If I received what I deserved, I would be in hell now, for all eternity. The point is that you realize the wrong you did to yourself and others. After this realization you perform selfless acts of love to make right the wrongs. Love covers a multitude of sins. I do not look at it like if you do one bad thing something bad will happen to you, in the sense that you are being punished. You can make a bad judgement and that could cause you or someone else sorrow. If you have no humility and you continue in your pride to be a big PR, yes, I believe your sins could come back and hurt you. I think I am rambling here. Sorry. PAX.

Yes, and yes.
And quite honestly I am a very strong atheist, but I think the choices we make set up future consequences by subtly changing our patterns, like ripples in a pond, which subsequently increase or decease our likelihood of experiencing unfortunate events.

Plus, it just feels good to be nice to people. :)

Totally Agree

I have been paying for my bad behavior of younger years for a few years now, hopefully it will end soon. :(

Yes, and Yes. No doubt.

My old signature used to be "My greatest wish is for everyone to get what they deserve, and my biggest fear is that I will."

I can tell you first hand that yes and yes to both of your questions. I was the oppisite when I was younger but now I have seen it first hand. That shit came back and bit me in the ass so many times so I now live by this and tell others to also.

respect

Yeah I think it's a great principle. I also try to make up for mistakes from the past like the dude from My name is Earl.

The world was set up a certain way. There are certain invisible laws that hold true. Gravity, karma, prayer. I beleive in God the creator. There are certain truths, that we can't explain with science or reason. Because we are created beings, not the creator. And we are limited and he is limitless.
Sorry to go "all God" on ya.
"You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, with your whole soul, and with all your mind” (Deuteronomy 6:5). “This is the greatest and first commandment. The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Leviticus 19:18).

It a good thing Dave if we all lived with this thought the world would be a better place.we even have a catch and release policy in the house for even bugs.i feel i do not have the rite to end anythings life.unless it came down to myself or family member safety.

The universe has a perfect accounting system.

Karma is the law of dynamic exchange. It is the law of giving and receiving. In order to receive, one must give, and vice versa. Our bodies are in constant exchange with the earth. Without even knowing it, we give the trees and plants air to breathe, and they return the favor. When we stop giving, we stop receiving. A good example is a river. When it dams up, the water stops flowing, it becomes stagnant and dirty. Or take your life blood for example, when it stops flowing, it coagulates and clots. The same goes for money, material things, love, thoughts, everything in the universe that can be imagined. The more we give on a daily basis, the more our lives will be fulfilled.

I try to keep the law of Karma going strong in my life by giving something to everyone I come in contact with. It does not have to be material things, it can be a compliment, a silent prayer, a positive thought, a flower, etc.. By doing this as much as possible I believe I am creating blessings in my own life.

YES,YES,and YES!!!!!
And it's a b**ch sometimes

Why hurting people when there's no need to? That's a pretty simple rule to follow...
