kenalog (10 and 40) for self injection into scar tissue

I have more than a few injection spots that now have scar tissue lumps ( they're not absesses ive checked and ouch)
I was hoping to self treat them with kenalog injections.
I have both 10 and 40 kenalog and am not sure how to dose them.
Atrophy of surrounding tissue is my main concern, especially with the higher dosed 40.

Can you guys help me out with a little info?

I've done it myself.

it's intralesional. i've put the solution into a insulin syringe and injected the scar tissue.

Inject until it turns white. Repeat every 2 - 4 weeks. after several injections you're supposed to stop since the skin becomes too thin.

if this doesnt work look into flourouracil. It's also used in the same way to treat scar tissue. this is being injected every week for several months.

From what I understand the kenalog will not breakdown scar tissue. Im interested what others have to say.

I would think deep tissue massage, graston type massage would help.

They use this all the time for scar tissue.
But intramuscular I'll not sure.
