Keto/Diet Advice After Long Lay Off

So after a 4 month, cold turkey layoff of both gear and gym with a pathetic diet, i got the itch and im back. Needless to say, substantial muscle lost and fat gained.

I am on my 6th day of keto, keeping net carbs at around 25g/day. I dont want to straight cut, because i have already lost a bunch of muscle and strength, but i know pounding calories to bulk would be just as stupid.

I will be running 500mg of Test C and 600mg of EQ, first pin was yesterday, and will be 4 weeks or so before everything kicks in.

Should i continue to run keto for 4 week til my oils kick in and i can utilize the excess protein synthesis then switch, the whole way through, or just cut it out altogether and eat clean af?

My experience with gaining muscle/strength on keto has been shit, i was told by a professional that muscle gain comes down strictly to calorie surplus and to up fat/protein.

I am currently 5'9, 225 lbs, probably 20% bf.

Suggestions?

I think what is sustainable and more productive for getting as much as i can out of my lifting is to eat clean and time carbs before and after workouts and moderate good fats, but that will slow down the fat burning process from if i was doing keto.

So idk lol. That's why I'm asking opinions.

Take the 4 weeks and cut hard then Just do carbs pre/intra start with only 50gr and work up from there.

Haha ya man but i think you know whats best for yourself and what you will stick to.

Try your idea and if you need to cycle carbs to keep losing fat do so.
