I posted a thread about going to graveyard shift a week ago. Well the big night starts tuesday night. I already talked to my doc and he gave me some good reference literature about it but it was the same things guys on here have already said.
I have been prescribed ambien for years already which helps me go to sleep and I take phenibut to get the deep REM sleep. He also prescribed me a mild stimulant to help with the initial push.I have unlimited access to caffeine at this job for free (not just regular coffee but all coffee type drinks) so energy is going to be my last worry.
I am trying to get a plan together. I work sun-thurs nights and have fri-sat off which can still help me have a somewhat normal life although at the moment it's my dog, cat, and me. During the work week I plan on sleeping when coming home right after shift.
I have never used Ketotifen before but after doing a search I am considering using 1mg before bed. Also on the weekend I plan on coming home friday sleeping a few hours then getting up and having a normal life trying to sleep normal friday and sat. Sunday morning up early a mid afternoon nap of about 4 hours and then back to schedule.
Would the Keto help with the naps or is it to strong ? From what I could search it sounds like it affects people like a strong antihistamine. Does it have "groggy" or "hangover" effects at 1mg ? I can take 20mg ambien and if I get 6-8 hours of sleep no after effects.
