I stumbled upon this, and ended up watching the whole thing.

This guy has seen some shit. Went in for conspiracy to sell steroids, and ended up with a LOT of other unlucky trouble.

He's a good bodybuilder too, found a picture of him at the 13 Master Nationals. He took 2nd to Shawn Ray at Teen America back in the day.

That's crazy you posted this, I just watched this yesterday. Once I started watching couldn't turn it off definitely an interesting story. Well worth spending the 45 mins to watch the entire video! A lot of details left out about the first case that didn't seem to add up

It was more like held captive for 16 days and tortured periodically. They wanted a million ransome from him and he escaped one night when the guards fell asleep

Who knows? They might have wanted to kill him anyway after getting the money. He ran away so they never got the chance.

I'm just going off what I saw in the video. He seems pretty straightforward but nothing or no one really is in life.

true, in most cases. however, the guys who abducted him must have been pretty low level "cartel members" if they were trying to shake down some low-mid-level steroid distributor...

and as Pusher said, at that level, they probably weren't the smartest guys out there..

I work with a a few accounts deep in Mexico. One in particular had some trouble with the cartel. They held him for 40k ransom. He was unknowingly dealing with a brand that they thought "was theirs" and using it to help wash their money. I didnt watch the video, but I highly doubt he was held for 1 million dollars ransom. Did he say what cartel? If he was kidnapped by the cartel, I dont think he would really be openly speaking about it. They have tentacles everywhere...

I just watched that earlier this week too. I guess those Youtube algorithms are working well for target audience marketing....

I was pretty impressed by his attitude throughout, he seems very practical, and just pushes through the hard times without getting any kind of victim mentality.
