This is not directed at anyone …
There are plenty of people (regular folks, MD’s, DC’s, PhD’s, Natruopaths, Fitness Guru’s, Herbalists, etc) hyping up their products and ripping people off by overcharging.
That doesn’t mean the actual product or the ingredients in the product will not or do not work.
Let’s not be myopic with our assessment of a product’s efficacy; while reviewing things that may confer a benefit / help us.
We don’t have to buy anything from anyone in particular and we SHOULD look for the best price for a comparable product as well; but to throw the baby out with the bathwater, is just not prudent practice here.
Know who did this for decades? MD’s. Laughed at every supplement out there said it was all snake oil as they force fed us toxic pharmaceutical alternatives.
Can you imagine convincing a highly specialized Nephrologist (MD) 10 years ago that some poorly researched ambiguous herb named astragulus would improve kidney function?
In my opinion, there’s goods and bads in almost every discipline of medicine.
We just have to be discerning (and unfortunately take some chances); and be prepared to lose some loot along the way as well due to the lack of regs, as we play guinea pig.
