knot on my glute?

I have a knot on my glute that has not gone away. I have been off cycle for over a month. There is no pain it feels like a little marble I can move around. Im not sure what it is. I have been using gear for over 5 years now and never had this happen before. If anyone can tell me what it might be before I see my doctor next week would be greatly apreciated.

If it's between the muscle and the skin, not inside the muscle itself, and if it's soft, it's probably a fatty tumor, very common in the glute area, most people have them.

If you have a heating pad you may want to try that.

I had a knot in my glute for over a month and when I used the heating pad it went away in 3 days.

I had that the one time I shot into my butt, I did not have a long enough pin, and hurt like hell, so i just rubbed it out. Sat on a tennis ball or something hard or towels bunched up and moved around on it. Hurt a ton while doing that, but was gone in about a week.
