I bought some white borneo that I'm going to try, but I was interested to see if anyone else uses kratom preworkout. If so, what's your favorite strain for preworkout, dosage, frequency, etc? Seems like the green or white strains are more stimulating, but I've read where some do like the red strain preworkout as well. Not looking for everyday use, probably just 3 times a week to keep tolerance low. Got mine from a smoke shop close to me, so if there are any recommendations for better quality and price, I'm all ears. I'm a newbie to this stuff.
 
I've used the white before and it was pretty good. It seems to build a tolerence pretty fast though. I just use regular pre workout now and it seems to work better overall. There's a preworkout thread here that you should checkout. There's a lot of info in there
 
I did this for awhile. Stuff works amazing for this. Problem is you won't want to workout without it. Realize most people that use it end up taking a whole lot and/ or way too often. Might not happen quickly but realize that happens a lot.

I did it for 4 years and quit and very glad I did. Sometimes it's a good idea to keep pandoras box closed.
 
The first time I've tried it was 2018 the most times I did it in a week was 3 or 4 times a week. The least about amount about once every 6 months.

My last Labs maybe 2 months ago I took it on an empty stomach about a half hour before and my lab showed up is liver enzyme's elevated they were at the highest so it's known to elevate liver enzymes so it may very briefly elevatum quite a bit. Definitely keep an eye on my liver enzymes next test and won't be taking kratom before

My preferred dose is usually about 5 to 8 g. Everyone's different so start small. I used it a couple days ago the last time I used up before that was a couple weeks
 
My best advice is not to even start the Kratom. You will get hooked and you build up tolerance mega fast and before you know it you’ll be spending a good chunk of change supporting your habit and it will no longer work for your pain. I’m glad I stopped using it. I feel much better without it and would rather just deal with the pain than mask it with another fucking dirty habit I don’t want. To each his own but that stuff is nasty and highly addictive. Made me sweat like a whore in church 24/7.

I started with it being pre workout….Last 2 years my daily intake is 40g.
If you think you have self control then go ahead but my advice would be don’t do it.
 
As kratom utilizes the same receptors opioids do from my reading. Dulling the brain to be able to focus better doesn't seem like a good choice, certainly not on a regulars basis. And then to use it for other reasons just raise the risk raising tolerance. Many others on this forum have talked of using kratom to get up for a workout, help cover up their pain, mellowing out and sleep. If some one is using it more then once a day and for different multiple reasons i figure they just like the buzz and using excuses to try to justify their actions. I have used it daily for years. And am up to a big dose of 3 grams once a day. As i know bigger does and more times a day is not a path that will help me in the long run.

Agreed. The withdrawals can really suck.

Yeah. I think I tried 3g... and felt like I was about to chuck everywhere. Think it took 12hrs to feel
normal again.
 
Besides the addiction. Pre work would be a BIG no. Kratom causes extreme dehydration. Never got a pump from taking that as a pre workout. It also dries out the skin joints and so on. I was taking the red Thia at 15 G's a day. Would wake up middle of the night in a soaked wet bed from sweating profusely. And dehydration is bad for the kidney's too. I still take small amounts because of a slipped disc but after the operation I will call it quits and deal with the consequences then...
 
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I may give it a try, but I definitely don't want to feel like I need it or go through any kind of withdrawal.

Tried it this morning, 3.6 grams of the white borneo. Good energy and sense of well-being. Seems like a good mood booster. Not really looking to get high or pain relief, so I will probably refrain from the high doses many seem to do. I think 2 to 3 grams with some caffeine in the morning is probably more than enough for the mood/energy affect I'm going for. Seems to help keep appetite a little more under control too. Not near as hungry.
 
5 days a week

White kratom + preworkout powder (total war, not in love w it but havent felt like shopping around) + 25mg ephedrine + some form of strong androgenic lately has been 20mg halo

Damn. That is a pretty significant and fun looking stack lol.

I use 3g from time to time and I agree that it provides essentially no pain relief, and I haven't noticed and tolerance from 1-2s/week for over a year. But I do find it to provide a very nice amount of wakefulness and steady energy. So it is a very good pre-cardio supp/drug. I like to add a small amount caffeine and citruline or cialis. Very effective and I feel essentially no crash like some of the stronger stims.
 
Kratom, especially white and green MD, are great preworkouts. But careful, thats how I started out using it and now I’m pretty bad hooked. It’s embarrassing but it’s real and not something that should be taken lightly. Evidently the withdrawals are legit.

I've never experienced withdrawals but my use has been 3x/wk max and never more than once a day. And I agree it's something that should not be taken lightly.
