Phil has me taking a Kre Alk/Beta analine supp that he stocks at hernons pantry. I'm not sure if its "better" than mono, but it is verry convenient. So far i like like it. 1 tbsp after training and on non training days you take it before bed and thats it.

I use kre-alkalyn. Feel the same effects as i do with mono except i don't get any stomach discomfort
I couldnt tell any difference, except i held a little less water... Not worth the $
Why before bed? Is it so creatine stores are better "stocked" for the following training day?
Guess Im a non responder never really saw much outta either. So I gave em a fair try and spend my money elsewhere with supps that work for me- even though they are both relatively cheap. Some people love and swear by them- and scientifically I cant think of any supplement studied more thoroughly and scrutinized that CM. Roughly 10-20% of the population have been proven to be nonrespnders and im one of em. But other things work very well for me- and not for others. Lifes a bitch what can I say.....
What's it mean to not respond on creatine? Are you talking about the strength gains, and if that's the case, do you dont even get that extra fullness?
There is a certain percentage of humans that are clasified in this regard as "non responders." Meaning as it sounds. It does nothing creatine in any form is touted and proven to do. Many theories abroad such as ones muscles may be saturated already through diet, genetics, lack thereof absorbsion, or intollerance. In my case-been around a bit- I have tried every form known to man and gain zero pounds of bodyweight, zero increase in anaerobic capacity (strength or endurance). Monohydrate is still the Gold Standard of all forms that all others are measured against and all legitimate studies prove good old cheap mono is the most effective by all measures in any scientific journal. That being said we are all different and what works for some can do nothing for others. Most of the claims being made of other forms are pure marketing hype and cite bogus studies performed my companies with self interest. But I certainly have heard good things on the "street" about Kre Alkalyn and Phils products.
