Thanks everyone for the support. I hope to make everyone proud in 7.5 weeks

Just upped the cardio to 55 minutes a day and adding in fish. Should be big changes in the next two weeks :D
 
Now sitting at six weeks out from nationals. This past week we added in three fish meals a day. Normally my weight would drop pretty drastic when adding in fish but this year it hasn't.

Cardio is at 1 hour a day on the stepmill before breakfast carbs still around 300 a day.

I'll post some progress pics at five weeks out.

Why do you think this is? And is there any thoughts as to why your weight wouldn't be dropping this year?

so you dont buy into the notion that cardio isnt neccessary... thats refreshing... because I agree... for most people to get really lean, cardio just has to be in there

idk how stuff gets turned upside down when one person makes a comment

To be honest i think its because i have a lot more dense muscle. Im still getting tighter each week but holding weight which im not going to complain thats for sure. Im sure ill drop 2-3 pounds over the next 2-3 week.

Ive always done cardio during prep. Each prep does change on how much cardio i do and how many weeks out. There are so many different ways to approach a prep. Last year i was only doing 20 minutes of cardio a day but this year im already at an hour a day.

But yes use cardio during prep....i feel the stepmill brings your glutes and hams in better than any cardio peace of equipment.
